Purple Line Extension (Westside Subway)Phase 1 - Design/Build
The first phase of the Purple Line Extension (Westside Subway) will lay a 3.9 mile extension from the current terminus at Wilshire/Western in the city of Los Angeles to three new stations in the cities of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills –
1. Wilshire/La Brea (northwest corner of Wilshire and La
Brea)
2. Wilshire/Fairfax (southeast corner of Wilshire and Orange Grove)
3. Wilshire/La Cienega (northeast corner of Wilshire and La Cienega)
The project will increase regional mobility and improve connectivity throughout the Metro system.
