How to Upload Documents
There are 6 document workspaces as identified by the Quick Link buttons provided on the Pre-Construction homepage. Note: you will not be permitted to upload documents that you do not have the required security credentials to contribute to. To upload documents to the site, it is important to first be within the document workspace that you wish upload documents into. Follow the link to your document workspace.

In your document workspace, navigate to the folder that you wish to upload documents to. You can navigate to the folder by simply clicking on the name of the folder to open the folder. A typical folder layout is identified below. Folders are visible through an item known as a Web Part on the site page. If you haven't already activated the Web Part you must click on either a folder or somewhere else within the web part to activate the Web Part.

Upload Method 1
The quickest and easiest way to upload a file is to click on the "+ Add document" button shown in the image above. This will show the upload window where you can browse the location of the file you wish to upload and select the folder destination within the group of folders.

Upload Method 2
Once the Web Part is activated, a box will appear around the group of folders, and the Library Tools set of tabs will appear at the top of the page. Within the Documents tab you can click on the "Upload Document" button to upload a document or use the dropdown menu under the button to upload multiple files.

If you are uploading a single document, the Upload Document window identified above will appear. If uploading multiple documents has been selected, you will have a window that will allow you to drag files into the window to start the document upload.

As a reminder, you must verify that your documents have been Checked-In before they will be visible to the team. You may have completed the upload, but if the documents were never checked in, the team will never see them.
